can i just talk about how much the music from like 2009-2012 SUCKS 

seriously i only enjoy listening to music from like 2002 to like early 2009 (and of course taylor’s music) but EVERY song on the radio right now SUCKS like how did music become this how did we go from songs that actually have meaning and good lyrics to songs about partying and getting drunk and smoking weed and fucking girls with little techno breaks in between every line 

music used to be so great and every song had meaning and good music behind it and if you were a musician back then you should feel very proud because you need talent to be in that category. you don’t even need talent to produce/”sing” music now. all you need is a somewhat decent voice and autotune and a nice dancy beat and just like that you’re famous

Maybe try listening to music that isn’t on the radio as often? Or not on Top 40 radio? Try Pandora.com. Not all music is bad haha
